“Cardigan” becomes her 23rd top 10 on Adult Pop Songs.
Taylor Swift extends her record for the most top 10s among women in the history of Billboard‘s Adult Pop Songs radio airplay chart, as “Cardigan,” from her new album Folklore, climbs from No. 11 to No. 10 on the list dated Sept. 12.
Swift scores her 23rd Adult Pop Songs top 10, furthering her lead over P!nk, the runner-up among women with 17. (The chart began in 1996.)
Overall, Swift ranks second only to Maroon 5, which has banked 26 Adult Pop Songs top 10s. The group’s latest, “Nobody’s Love,” ranks a notch above “Cardigan” on this week’s chart, rising 10-9.

Meanwhile, Swift scales two other genre airplay charts with fellow tracks from Folklore, which tops the Billboard 200 for a sixth week. On Adult Alternative Songs, “Exile,” featuring Bon Iver, reaches the top 20, lifting 21-19. The song is the first entry on the chart for both acts.
Plus, “Betty” rises 42-39 on Country Airplay. The song is Swift’s first top 40 Country Airplay hit as a lead artist since “Red,” which reached No. 7, becoming her 18th top 10, in December 2013. Following her segue to pop with her 1989 LP in 2014, Swift charted in the Country Airplay top 40 once between “Red” and “Betty,” as featured on Sugarland’s “Babe,” which hit No. 17 in September 2018.
“Cardigan” soared in at No. 1 on the all-genre, multi-metric Billboard Hot 100 dated Aug. 8. As Folklore launched atop the Billboard 200 the same week, Swift became the first artist ever to debut at No. 1 on both charts simultaneously.
